HELPFUL TIPS FOR ZOOM
  1. Come early to check connection and say hi to others.  Connection will be live by 9:25
  2. Anyone may choose to not include video, but you are welcome and encouraged to make your video available.  That will make this experience much more enjoyable with a feeling of connection.
  3. Please keep yourself muted unless you are speaking.  Background noise will interfere with sound quality if we don’t all mute (unless speaking).  During worship, you will see on your screen who is designated to speak different parts.  Those speakers will be the only ones to un-mute.
  4. Everyone is invited to un-mute during the Lord’s Prayer.  Then mute again after that.
  5. Mute and video controls are in the bottom or top left of screen.  IF you don’t immediately see the tool bar, bring your finger or cursor to the area to prompt  the tool bar to pop up on the screen.
  6. You can choose ‘speaker view’ or ‘gallery view’ at the top right corner of the screen.  One features the person speaking, the other allows you to see more faces.
  7. The chat feature allows you to ask questions of the host, communicate with all others, or select one other participant for a private call.
  8. At the end of worship, we will break out into smaller groups for “coffee hour”.  Zoom will randomly group us into about 4 (+/-) people so you can chat with each other and catch up.  I’ve heard from other congregations that this has been enjoyed by many.  You have the option to leave the meeting at anytime.  Look to your bottom right corner of the screen and see in red lettering, Leave Meeting.  Click on that to exit the zoom meeting.
