"God calls us to become
Connected to Christ,
Connected to each other,
And connected to Community."

God calls us to become
connected to Christ.

We encounter God and become connected to Christ through our worship, prayer and study of His Word. At St. Andrew’s we actively participate in joyful and vibrant worship, where we confess our sinful nature and the need for God's grace, praise Him and hear His Word, and invite all who believe in Him to share in holy communion. Inspired and transformed by the Holy Spirit, we seek new opportunities to pray together, study God’s Word and share the good news of Christ’s death and resurrection.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God - what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

God calls us to become connected to each other.

At St. Andrew’s church we seek to develop significant and personal relationships with each other as we build a closer relationship with God. We recognize that, serving God, with our different gifts, we are bound to each other by spiritual ties that are stronger than mere social acquaintances. These ties compel us to unconditionally love, support, and care for each other in Christ’s name. We are called to worship together, pray with and for each other, study His Word together, and witness and serve together. We affirm that there is a place for everyone in the body of Christ, a belonging that defies worldly standards of status and success.

For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. Romans 12:4

God calls us to become connected to community.

We strive for all of our ministries to be rooted in the Gospel, which proclaims that Christ our Savior gave His life so we could live. We are to give our lives to Him, to be His messengers and servants. As a congregation we are to be boldly invitational as well as advocates for translating God’s love into active caring and support for others. We are called to take Christ’s message into our community and the world.

And [Jesus] said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation". Mark 16:15
